From Tuesday, accordionist Christelle de Franceschi sets up on Place Gambetta in Tulle to try to win back the world record for non-stop playing and return to the Guinness World Records. Originally from northern France, she already holds three endurance records: 51 hours in 2022, 75 hours in 2023 and 83 hours in 2024, before losing the title last summer. The rules allow her five minutes' rest per hour of playing and thirty minutes after six consecutive hours. The verdict is expected on Friday or Saturday, at the end of an attempt scheduled to run until 26 September.
