2. Data collection
We only collect the data needed to run the site: your location if you allow it (to show nearby events and sort by distance), the Pack Corrèze form details if you fill it in, and account details if you are part of the newsroom. Audience statistics are aggregated per day, without personal identifiers or tracking cookies. A single technical cookie, “langue”, remembers for one year the language you chose (French or English); it is not used for tracking.
3. Data usage
Data is never sold or transferred to third parties. It is used exclusively to improve your experience on the site and to answer your requests.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. Write to the address above to exercise it.
5. Access log of the reference corpus
Corrèze Actu's reference pages (the /reference and /acteurs sections) and the file /corpus.json, their machine-readable version, are also intended for artificial-intelligence assistants. To know which robots read them, Corrèze Actu keeps a log of accesses to /corpus.json and counts robot visits on its pages. For a human visitor, the IP address is truncated on recording (the last group of digits is replaced by zero) and no data is matched to a person. This data is kept for 90 days and then deleted.
