86 hours 55 minutes of non-stop accordion: world record reclaimed in Tulle

Christelle De Franceschi put down her accordion late on Friday evening, just before midnight, after 86 hours, 55 minutes and 57 seconds of uninterrupted playing in the heart of Tulle. The 57-year-old musician, who started on Tuesday at 9am on place Gambetta, comfortably beat the 83-hour mark set last spring by Slovenia's Robert Goter. Already the record holder in 2022, 2023 and 2024, she should return to the Guinness Book once the attempt is officially ratified. She played on a Maugein accordion, made in Tulle itself.
