In Tulle, Christelle de Franceschi Plays Day and Night to Win Back Her World Record

Since Tuesday morning, accordionist Christelle de Franceschi has set up on Place Gambetta in Tulle, with her tricolour-keyed instrument, attempting to play non-stop for more than 83 hours. World record holder in 2022, 2023 and 2024, she wants to reclaim the title taken in late August by a Slovenian musician, who pushed the mark to 83 hours and 1 minute. The public can come and listen to her and cheer her on, day or night, on the square. She is still looking for witnesses to take turns logging her playing hours: volunteers can sign up at Tulle town hall.
