Around thirty people gathered outside Brive town hall, and others outside the town halls of Tulle, Ussel, Égletons and Uzerche. They were answering a call from a coalition of unions (CGT, FSU, Solidaires and the Union syndicale lycéenne), backed by the Human Rights League. They were condemning the racist attack carried out on Friday 23 October in Trappes and La Verrière, in the Yvelines. The attack killed a 26-year-old man and seriously injured several other people, including a 12-year-old girl who was shot. The unions expressed their horror and deep outrage at this terrorist attack.
