Beta Beams, based in Donzenac, is among the winners of the France 2030 investment plan. The company specialises in electron generators used to decontaminate medicine boxes and works with major pharmaceutical groups around the world. The scheme provides 200,000 euros in funding plus the same amount as a loan, so it can develop its own production line with a built-in sterilisation system within a year and a half. Its workforce has grown from 10 to 20 employees since the start of the year, and it plans to keep hiring.
