Cap Parents 19: Mathieu Bosredon becomes patron of the scheme supporting parents with disabilities

AI-generated illustration
Launched in January by PEP 19, the Cap Parents 19 scheme supports parents with disabilities before, during and after birth, and until the child turns 18. It brings together a multidisciplinary team: coordinators, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, an early childhood educator and a social and family economics adviser. Since this week, its patron is Mathieu Bosredon, triple gold medallist at the Paris Paralympic Games and a Brive city councillor. A father for 16 years, the 36-year-old points to two challenges: adapting housing for a child's arrival and fighting stigma, saying he was once treated like a child in front of his son. The service is entirely free and can be reached on 05 19 98 01 01 or at lespep19.org.
