Unemployment: Corrèze up over the quarter but down over the year

Third-quarter unemployment figures were published on October 28. In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the number of jobseekers registered in category A rose by 1.5% over the quarter and by 3.7% over the year. In Corrèze, the quarterly rise was steeper (+4.6%), but over the year the number of category A jobseekers fell by 1.6%. Just over 8,000 people in Corrèze remain registered in this category, which covers people without work who are required to look for a job.
