Égletons-Darnets: court cancels permit for Engie Green's agrivoltaic park

The Limoges administrative court has cancelled the building permit for the agrivoltaic park that Engie Green planned across the municipalities of Égletons and Darnets. The project involved clearing 17 hectares of woodland. The court sided with the opponents: the Mountain Law forbids building that is not connected to existing development. The association Corrèze Environnement sees the ruling as an important step for protecting forest sites, but is keeping a close eye on any next steps following the decision.
