Tulle station: Saturday morning ticket office stays open until at least June

The ticket office at Tulle railway station will stay open on Saturday mornings, as the trial has been extended until at least June 2027. In the spring, shortly after the municipal elections, the new council majority learned that the office would close in the summer because too few people used it. After a long tug-of-war led by Tulle town hall and the Corrèze departmental council, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and SNCF agreed to continue the trial. In a statement, Mayor Laurent Melin welcomed the news but said he wants more than a simple postponement. Together with Tulle Agglo councillors, he intends to keep up the pressure so that this local service is not replaced by a single ticket machine.
