On Saturday afternoon, a person unconnected to the protest was arrested and taken into custody after police found a knife while checking their bag. Officers were on high alert on Halloween, following the clashes that broke out on the streets of Brive last year. At the end of the week, the Prefect of Corrèze had issued an order banning the carrying and transport of weapons, or objects that could be used as weapons, without a legitimate reason. The person was released from custody early on Saturday evening.
