Johnny Hallyday biopic filming on the Millevaches plateau

Cameras are rolling on the Millevaches plateau, where the Johnny Hallyday biopic directed by Cédric Jimenez ("Bac Nord", "La French") is shooting between Meymac and the Séchemailles lake. Benjamin Voisin plays the French rock icon, with Nina Meurisse as Nathalie Baye. The team picked this corner of Corrèze because its forests and lakes look like Canada: the scenes recreate the couple's trip across the Atlantic in the 1980s. The film, simply titled "Johnny", is expected in cinemas late next year.
