It is now official: the national Limousin cattle show will be held on 24, 25 and 26 September 2027 at the national stud farm of Arnac-Pompadour. The announcement was made last weekend at the Sommet de l'Élevage in Cournon-d'Auvergne, near Clermont-Ferrand. The event had not been staged in Corrèze for nineteen years, after Limoges in 2025 and Cournon in 2026. Pompadour was no random choice: the famous horse-breeding town was one of the first in France to develop selective breeding within the Limousin cattle breed.
