Midi Corrézien: by-election called after Pascal Coste leaves for the Senate

Voters in the Midi Corrézien canton will go back to the polls for a departmental by-election set for Sunday 13 December. Pascal Coste, the former president of the Corrèze departmental council, was elected senator for Corrèze and chose to keep his regional council seat while giving up his departmental seat. His substitute, Alexandre Tronche, a former Meyssac councillor, did not wish to take his place. Polls will be open from 8 am to 6 pm in the canton's 33 municipalities.
