First-ever strike at Brico Dépôt in Brive since the store opened

Employees of the Brico Dépôt store in Brive-la-Gaillarde, on rue Armand-Sourie, joined a national strike call on Saturday, a first since the store opened. The strikers are demanding a 5% general pay rise, just hours before the chain's mandatory annual wage negotiations. A picket line was held outside the store with the backing of the local CGT union for the Brive area. Only a handful of the site's 70 employees took part in the action.
