Four Corrèze postwomen face dismissal over a press photo

Four postwomen in Corrèze have been summoned to pre-dismissal hearings by their management. La Poste accuses them of taking part, alongside elected officials from the Beynat area, in the summer blockade of the Ussac mail sorting platform, based on a photograph published in the local press. The officials and postal workers were protesting against a reorganisation of mail delivery that would close several centres, including Beynat, and move staff to Ussac. Management does not comment on individual cases and says the women face disciplinary action for breaching company rules.
