Tarnac: Christophe Bayle's List Wins Comfortably

Voters in Tarnac went back to the polls on Sunday after the March election was annulled by the Limoges administrative court. As in the spring, two lists faced off, but this time the gap was far wider than a single vote: the Ensemble pour Tarnac list, led by Christophe Bayle, won 204 votes against 144 for the miscellaneous-left list Tarnac en vie, headed by Marie-Anne Lanavère. The new municipal council is due to meet during the week to elect the mayor.
