Waste Sorting: Mistakes Come at a High Price for Syttom 19
Since 2023, all packaging can be recycled and must go into the yellow bin, yet sorting mistakes remain common in Corrèze. According to Syttom 19, the department's joint authority for the transport and treatment of household waste, these errors cost close to 900,000 euros a year. To bring the bill down, the authority's elected officials have asked Citeo to launch a new awareness campaign helping residents use the right containers.
