Meet the dogs that guard the flocks in Peyrelevade

About this event

On Saturday 7 November at 2 pm, the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park is organising a meeting with livestock guardian dogs in Peyrelevade. Over 3 hours, the association de vulgarisation et d'initiatives en éthologie (an animal-behaviour outreach group) explains their role, their behaviour and how to act when you meet them on a hike. The activity is open to ages 8 and up; boots are strongly recommended and participants' own dogs are not allowed. The exact meeting place is given when you book, by phone on 06 77 83 89 01 or on the Park's website.
