Cafè platussant: a friendly chat in Occitan at the Librariá occitana

On Saturday 7 November at 3 pm, the Librariá occitana bookshop, at 42 rue Haute-Vienne in Limoges, hosts the Cafè platussant, a friendly get-together to chat in Occitan. Everyone is welcome: fluent speakers of the Limousin dialect, those who understand it but don't dare speak it, and those who simply want to discover it. On the programme: conversation, shared memories, songs and an introduction to Occitan literature, followed by tea or coffee to keep the talk going. Run by the Institut d'Estudis Occitans dau Lemosin, the meetup takes place on the first Saturday of every month.
