On Wednesday 30 September 2026 from 2pm to 5pm, the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels runs a nature outing in Brive entitled "Discovering the crickets and grasshoppers of Puy Laborie". The session is a citizen science survey, designed to reveal what makes these insects special and how to observe them properly. It is free but booking is compulsory, and the meeting point is given on registration. Bring walking shoes, a butterfly net, a magnifying glass and a camera.
