David Grosclaude at the Librariá occitana: 'cultural cooling' is as serious a threat as global warming

About this event

On Tuesday 20 October at 6:30pm, the Librariá occitana bookshop in Limoges welcomes David Grosclaude, a former journalist, Occitan language activist and environmentalist, to present his book 'La diversité pour survivre… au réchauffement climatique et au refroidissement culturel' (ADEO). In it, the author argues for preserving languages, cultures and traditions against growing uniformity, and says that 'cultural cooling' is as worrying a threat as global warming. The evening of discussion will look at the links between cultural diversity and biodiversity, and the author will then sign copies of his book. Admission is free, but places are limited, so booking is recommended on 05 55 32 06 44.
