Fest'Oie: Sarlat celebrates the Périgord goose for a whole weekend

On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, Sarlat-la-Canéda celebrates Périgord food with Fest'Oie, the big Périgord goose festival first held in 2009. Over two days, the programme includes cooking classes, farm visits and producers' stalls, showing the many ways to prepare and enjoy goose. The Bodeg'oie evening keeps the party going, and Sunday's closing feast serves no fewer than 15 goose dishes.
