DocumenTerre Festival puts birds in the spotlight at the Vox cinema

About this event

From 26 to 29 November, the Vox cinema in Montignac-Lascaux hosts the 17th DocumenTerre film festival, devoted this year to birds. Documentaries and talks will show how birds act as indicators of the planet's health, and the threats they face: pesticides, noise and light pollution, intensive farming, the loss of hedgerows and climate change. The festival will also look at the benefits of birdwatching for mental health and at the people working to protect birds. Philosopher Vinciane Despret, a professor at the University of Liège, is the patron of this edition. Booking is required.
