Franck Desmedt brings Saint-Exupéry to life on his own in Uzerche

About this event

On Thursday 5 November at 8.30pm, the Auditorium Sophie-Dessus in Uzerche hosts "Saint-Exupéry, le commandeur des oiseaux" (Saint-Exupéry, Commander of the Birds), produced by Atelier Théâtre Actuel. Alone on stage, Franck Desmedt, who won a Molière award in 2018, plays the aviator and writer behind "The Little Prince", on a set that evokes the sky and the desert. Written by Mathieu Rannou, the play lasts 1 hour 10 minutes. It tells of the flying adventures, friendships, solitude and loves of a man devoted to aviation, literature and freedom. The show is recommended for ages 12 and up, and the Préférences bookshop will have a selection of books before and after the performance.
