Funny tales, chestnuts and sweet cider: a Limousin dialect evening in Salon-la-Tour

On Tuesday 10 November at 8:30pm, the multipurpose hall in Salon-la-Tour hosts an evening dedicated to the Limousin dialect and its colourful expressions. It will open with a short sketch in patois, after which anyone can tell a story, share a memory or crack a joke, especially "gnorles", the funny tales of Limousin oral tradition. No expertise is needed: the aim is to keep the language alive in a friendly atmosphere, and in keeping with tradition, blanched chestnuts and sweet cider will be served.
