On Friday 23 October, from 8pm to 10pm, the Corrèze Departmental Biodiversity Reserve in Argentat-sur-Dordogne hosts an evening outing called "Nature by Night". As daylight fades, the former gravel-pit site reveals a completely different side of its wildlife. Night birds, small mammals, bats and insects stir in the half-light, amid rustling, songs, calls and furtive movements.
