Truffle lovers can head to Place Saint-Louis in Périgueux from Saturday 5 December, when the truffle market opens. Run by the town of Périgueux, the market will continue until 13 March 2027. Alongside the duck and goose market, it makes Périgueux one of the great showcases of Périgord's winter cuisine.
