The Arédien country told through the Middle Ages

On Saturday 3 October at 3pm, the Salle Attane in Saint-Yrieix hosts the lecture "Le pays arédien au Moyen-Âge". Christian Remy, agrégé, doctor in medieval history from the University of Limoges and associate researcher at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Medieval Civilisation in Poitiers, looks back at the medieval origins of the area. A trading crossroads steeped in spirituality, this prosperous and many-sided territory is explored through its history and heritage. The talk is organised by the Saint-Yrieix museum of art and history; admission 10 euros.
