"Le premier jour du reste de notre vie": people with brain injuries speak out, a free screening and discussion

The Louis Jouvet cinema in Uzerche is holding a screening and discussion of "Le premier jour du reste de notre vie", a 49-minute documentary made by Richard Léonard with the GEM Hippocampe peer-support group. The film gives a voice to people who have suffered brain injuries after an accident or illness. They describe their daily lives, their struggles and their doubts, as well as their hopes and their determination to find their place in society again, especially at work. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director, in partnership with Corrèze Télévision. Admission is free.
