"Marelle": a sneak preview of contortion at the Auditorium Sophie-Dessus

About this event

On Friday 27 November at 6.30pm, the Auditorium Sophie-Dessus in Uzerche hosts the end-of-residency showing of "Marelle" (Hopscotch), a new show for young audiences by Lise Pauton and the RaieManta company. After five days of work in Uzerche, the choreographer and performer Juanita Ortega Kippes present a work-in-progress of this 45-minute piece blending dance, movement and contortion. Inspired by the game of hopscotch, it follows a woman who passes through different worlds and explores the transformations of her body, using acrobatic figures to express emotions without words. The audience will get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and can talk with the artists, free of charge.
