Meteorites and Shooting Stars: The Sky Comes to the Labenche Museum

On Tuesday 29 September 2026 at 2.30pm, the Labenche Museum at 26 bis boulevard Jules-Ferry in Brive hosts the talk "Fascinantes météorites". Organised by the Société scientifique, historique et archéologique de la Corrèze, it will be given by Dominique Padirac. The session explains what a meteorite actually is, how it differs from a comet, and what lies behind shooting stars and the light effects seen in the sky, with a historical perspective.
