Meyssac Lights Up Its 31st Christmas Market Around the Grain Hall

On Saturday 5 December from 10am to 9pm and Sunday 6 December from 10am to 7pm, the centre of Meyssac and the medieval lanes around the Halle aux grains host the 31st edition of the Christmas Market. More than 50 stallholders will fill the wooden chalets with crafts, decorations and treats, alongside living tableaux, musical entertainment, Christmas games, Santa's House, a wooden carousel and an exhibition of nativity scenes from around the world. On Saturday at 7pm, a giant Christmas log cake will be shared in front of the church. Food and drink on site include crêpes, mulled wine, waffles, oysters and hot spiced apple juice; entry and activities are free, information on 05 55 25 41 19.
