Meyssac lights up its medieval lanes for its Christmas market

On Saturday 5 (10am-9pm) and Sunday 6 December (10am-7pm), Meyssac's Christmas market turns the village's medieval squares and lanes into a festive village, with more than 50 exhibitors, craftspeople and designers. Under the 18th-century grain hall, living tableaux are staged in partnership with the Association de Mise en Valeur du Patrimoine de Bridiers, while the church hosts an exhibition of nativity scenes from around the world. Families can enjoy live music, Christmas games, Santa's house and a wooden merry-go-round on Place du Jet d'eau, as well as crêpes, old-fashioned waffles, pretzels, oysters, soups and spiced hot drinks.
