Périgueux from above: a guided tour of Saint-Front Cathedral's rooftops

On Monday 26 October at 4pm, Périgueux's Town of Art and History service offers a guided tour of the rooftops of Saint-Front Cathedral, listed as a historic monument since 1840. From the heights of this building, which was extensively restored in the 19th century, visitors get a panoramic view of the old quarters, protected since 1970, and of the modern town. The tour is open to children aged 8 and over, booking is required, and it is best avoided if you are afraid of heights. Prices range from 5 to 7 euros, and it is free for under-12s.
