Chestnut Walk: Three Trails and Autumn Treats in Saint-Pardoux-l'Ortigier

On Sunday 25 October 2026, from 7.30am, the village pond of Saint-Pardoux-l'Ortigier is the starting point of the Rando de la Châtaigne, organised by the Rando St Pa association. Three routes of 9, 12 and 22 kilometres suit both casual strollers and seasoned walkers keen to discover the Corrèze countryside in autumn colours. Food is part of the fun, with breakfast, refreshment stops, chestnuts, apple juice and a gourmet plate, all for 8 euros per person. Registration is available on site or via HelloAsso, but entries for the 22-kilometre route close at 9.30am (information on 06 10 94 12 73).
