Chocolate Dresses and Madeleines: Saint-Yrieix's Sweetest Fair Turns 12

On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, the salle des congrès in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche hosts the 12th Salon de la Madeleine et du Chocolat. Two indulgent days to meet local madeleine bakers and chocolate makers, discover their craft and taste their specialities. The programme also features the 4th Trophée de la Cabosse, showcasing artistic chocolate creations made by students from various training schools, plus a fashion show of dresses made of chocolate and madeleines. Yannick Maurie, world champion of artistic sugar work, will unveil his creations, and a tea room will offer a sweet break over coffee, tea or hot chocolate; information on 05 55 08 12 61.
