On Saturday 5 December, from 10am to 2pm, the Place de l'Église in Saint-Robert hosts 'Esprit de Noël' (Christmas Spirit), a morning celebrating German food traditions alongside regional specialities. On the menu are flavours from Bavaria and Franconia: Schmidt gingerbread from Nuremberg, Franconian sausages and Geyer beer. Visitors can also enjoy mulled wine, homemade cakes, chestnuts and marrons in a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the village. If the weather is bad, the event moves to the André-Rousseau village hall; information on 06 32 51 33 23.
