Sardent: the Oyster Fair, two days of seaside flavours

On Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November, the Espace Claude Chabrol in Sardent, in the Creuse department, hosts the Oyster Fair, a very popular annual event. Forty exhibitors and ten tasting stands will offer oysters, mussels, fish, seafood, wines, beers, cheeses, cured meats, poultry, foie gras, honey, crêpes, chestnuts and cutlery. Visitors can eat on site with oysters, fish soup, mussels and chips, and desserts. On Tuesday, meals will be served at lunch and dinner, with an evening party hosted by a DJ; on Wednesday, only lunch will be served.
