“Let’s follow the sheep”: a free mini-transhumance in Borrèze

On Saturday 21 November from 10am to 12.30pm, the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels de Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Association foncière pastorale libre de Borrèze are offering “Suivons les moutons” (“Let’s follow the sheep”), a free mini-transhumance in the Périgord Noir. As part of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists declared by the United Nations, children and adults can walk with a flock, meet the shepherd and learn how grazing maintains the landscape and protects biodiversity. A meal of local produce follows the walk. Booking is required with Cyrille Gouat on 05 53 03 04 55, who will give you the meeting point.
