On the Millevaches Plateau, the Great Migration Parade

On Saturday 17 October at 9am, the Taphaleschas site in Saint-Sulpice-les-Bois hosts a full day of post-breeding migration watching on the Millevaches plateau. Depending on the day's movements, common cranes, wood pigeons, chaffinches, skylarks, meadow pipits, thrushes and migrating raptors may be spotted from this well-known vantage point. The day is free: bring a picnic, suitable clothing and ideally binoculars or a spotting scope. A fine chance to sharpen your birdwatching skills as thousands of birds pass overhead.
