About this event
The next Prehistory Café takes place on Sunday 18 October 2026 at 3.30pm at the Espace culture et loisirs in La Chapelle-aux-Saints, devoted to Templar and Hospitaller heritage in the Vézère valley. Marc-Olivier Agnès sets out the historical context in which this new form of knighthood emerged and organised itself. The talk revisits the role and definition of the commanderies. It also looks closely at the imagery associated with them.
