About this event

On Saturday 5 December, from 10am to 7pm, the village centre of Varetz hosts its Christmas market around the village hall, the Espace Colette, with many stallholders both indoors and outdoors. All day long, visitors can enjoy fairground rides, a raffle, oyster tastings and seasonal food, including soups, sandwiches, crêpes and hot drinks. The Telethon charity drive is part of the day, with several dedicated stands and a vintage car display. Children can enjoy free pony rides from 2pm to 6pm and meet Father Christmas from 3pm to 7pm. The VareDièse association will play a jazz concert from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, and the day will end with a big fireworks display at 7pm, launched from the school sports ground.
